Privacy Policy

Koops is an independently operated online card game. In this policy, “Koops,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the individual operator of koops.club.

Information you provide

You can play as a guest or sign in with Google. Depending on how you use Koops, we may process your display name, Google account identifier, email address, profile photo, selected avatar, game progress, score, coin balance, settings, room participation, and profile images you choose to upload. We do not receive your Google password.

Information collected automatically

Koops and its service providers may process device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, referring pages, app performance information, error reports, authentication state, and interactions with game and advertising features. The game also uses browser storage to remember guest profiles, room information, preferences, tutorial status, installation state, and other gameplay settings.

Why information is used

• To provide guest and signed-in gameplay, multiplayer rooms, scoring, profiles, and saved progress.
• To authenticate users, prevent abuse, protect rewards, diagnose errors, and maintain service security.
• To improve game reliability, performance, usability, and content.
• To provide advertising and rewarded-ad features when enabled and permitted.
• To respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.

Service providers

Koops uses Google services that may include Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Firebase Hosting or App Hosting, Cloud Storage, App Check, Analytics, Performance Monitoring, Google Identity Services, Google AdSense, and Google Ad Manager. These providers may process information on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms.

Sharing and international processing

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with infrastructure, authentication, analytics, security, storage, and advertising providers as needed to operate Koops. It may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a lawful transfer of the service. Providers may process information outside your country using legal transfer safeguards where required.

Retention and security

Guest information stored only in your browser remains until you clear it or the game removes it. Signed-in profile and gameplay information is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward where needed for security, dispute resolution, backups, or legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Cookies, local storage and advertising

Koops and its partners may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies. Essential storage supports sign-in, fraud prevention, security, multiplayer continuity, preferences, and game progress.

When advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons or IP addresses, and process information to deliver, measure, limit, and protect ads. Depending on your consent and location, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited. Rewarded ads are optional: you choose whether to view an available ad in exchange for the stated in-game reward.

For visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Koops uses a Google-certified consent mechanism when required. You can accept, refuse, or manage applicable advertising choices through that message. Refusing optional advertising storage may reduce ad availability and could make a rewarded offer unavailable.

Your choices and rights

• You may play without completing a Google sign-in, although some cloud features may be unavailable.
• You can clear locally stored guest data using your browser or device controls.
• You may refuse optional advertising consent or change available consent choices.
• You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability where applicable.
• You may object to certain processing or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

To make a privacy or account-deletion request, email hello@koops.club. We may need to verify that the request relates to your account. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Terms of Use

By accessing or playing Koops, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to agree to these Terms in your location. Children should use Koops only with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian where required.

Fair and acceptable use

You may use Koops for personal entertainment. You must not cheat, manipulate game or reward systems, impersonate others, harass players, upload unlawful or infringing material, probe security, automate access without permission, disrupt multiplayer rooms, introduce malicious code, or use Koops in violation of law.

Accounts and content

You are responsible for activity associated with your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. Display names, profile images, and other content you provide must be lawful and appropriate. We may remove content, restrict features, reset manipulated balances, suspend access, or close accounts when reasonably necessary to protect Koops or its users.

Availability and changes

Koops is provided on an “as available” basis. Features, rules, rewards, availability, and these Terms may change as the game develops. We may suspend or discontinue some or all of the service. Material policy changes will be reflected by updating this page and its effective date.

Virtual coins, purchases and rewarded ads

Koops coins are virtual gameplay items. Unless expressly required by law, they have no cash value, are not legal tender, cannot be transferred outside Koops, and do not represent ownership, a deposit, gambling winnings, or a financial account.

Coin amounts, entry fees, bonuses, and reward offers may change. A rewarded-ad offer grants coins only when the advertising service reports that the required viewing event was completed and the reward passes security and rate-limit checks. Ads may be unavailable, and closing an ad early may result in no reward.

Any future paid offer will display its price and contents before purchase and will be subject to the payment provider’s terms and applicable refund rights. Do not make a purchase unless an authorized payment flow is presented. Demo or test coin controls do not constitute a sale.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Koops is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or preservation of every game or balance. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. You are responsible for your internet connection, device, and use of the service.
